Los Padres Camping Trip

This past week was pure magic. I spent almost an entire week camping in Los Padres National Park with a whole fleet of herbalists. The women in my herbal class at The California School of Herbal Studies are so radiant, and spending so much time with all of them communally was such a gift.

I will never forget jumping off boulders into freezing cold water with you, learning the power of yerba santa, making banana boats around the camp fire, I am so grateful to know so many beautiful witches!

The land there is sacred. I long to know more about the Salinans and other natives that have been stewards to the land there, and have thrived off its abundance. Crystal clear waters, fields of wildflowers, medicine above, below, and everywhere in between.
